Mount Shasta stands shrouded in myth and reverence, long regarded as one of the world’s great sacred mountains. Rising at the southern end of the thousand-mile Cascade Range, it is not only one of Earth’s largest stratovolcanoes but also a place where legend and spirit are said to dwell, its slopes carrying an air of mystery that has inspired seekers for centuries.
