The Raging King’s River

The South Fork King's River ran the same line as the King's River Scenic Byway, crossing under it as I neared the Kanawyers Loop. But with that in mind, accompanying this closer viewing experience were multiple warning signs strongly suggesting not to approach the river, which was intensely raging a direct result of the massive snow melt from the previous winter season. My dog, Hallie, and I heeded the warning, for there would have been no second chances.
