Bridalveil Fall 1

Bridalveil Fall was my first stop in Yosemite National Park, and this was my first glimpse of the majestic waterfall as I stepped out of my car. The amazing sight made it clear right away that it was going to be an exciting day as I watched the powerful cascade of water tumbling down the granite face.

Within my landscape photography, Ansel Adams leadership in the field has always been a great inspiration, especially within his efforts in Yosemite. It was a magical moment for me to photograph some of the same iconic locations that he made famous during his career. This amazing location was just the first of several.
