Valley View Panorama 1

I really appreciated this wide-angle view of Valley View, where I could catch glimpses of both Ribbon Fall and Bridalveil Fall. A record snowfall the previous winter had caused the waterfalls and rivers to surge, enhancing the visibility of the falls. I was lucky to visit in the spring, as Ribbon Fall usually dries up by mid-summer. To make the shot more interesting, I cautiously balanced on a very slippery downed tree several feet over the river for a higher perspective. Call me crazy.
