My experience in Pacific Grove and the adjoining 17 Mile Drive that led you directly towards Carmel by the Sea was truly memorable. The natural beauty was awe-inspiring, and nature’s power was on full display. Within just a day of my arrival, the skies shifted from clear blue to deep gray, signaling the approach of a winter storm. The calm seas quickly transformed, with waves rising from a gentle swell to towering 40-foot walls overnight. Surfers flocked to the water, riding the massive waves and putting on an incredible show for those of us watching from the shore. Within 36 hours the storm had passed and the blue skies opened up again creating a magnificent adventure as I explored my way past Bird Rock, Pebble Beach heading towards Carmel. This is what can be a full-day excursion that I highly recommend!
