Like My Shoes?

This series began unexpectedly…  when a muse showed up to a creative session with a pair of white dress heels. The shoot had originally been intended for a different project, and at the time, the shoes weren’t really where my focus was. Still, I wanted to honor her effort, so we wrapped the session with an extra twenty-eight frames featuring the heels.

The results caught me completely off guard… in the best way. Her effort and ability are to be applauded. From that point on, we committed to exploring the idea further. Over the next eighteen months, we collaborated on three more shoots, keeping to a rhythm of one every six months. Each time, she brought a fresh and distinct look, which only deepened the character and depth of the series.

Plate Five came from a session with another remarkable muse, whose tone and presence aligned beautifully with the existing work… so much so, it felt like a natural addition.

You could say this series started by accident. The good kind.
